The incumbent in the Income Maintenance Caseworker position is responsible and accountable for determining eligibility for financial assistance, Medicaid, SNAP, LIHEAP, Nursing Home Care and Waivers as well as any additional programs the Department of Human Services administers for applicants/recipients in accordance with state regulations.

Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:30 to 5:00
Hiring preference for this vacancy will be given to candidates who live within Carbon County. If no eligible candidates who live within Carbon County apply for this position, candidates who reside in other counties may be considered.

The majority of the Income Maintenance Caseworker duties consists of interviewing customers, reviewing policy and the use of automated eligibility determination systems. A limited number of programs still require manual determination of benefits. The job duties are carried out under the general supervision of an Income Maintenance Casework Supervisor. Great office environment with ample free parking.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
