_POSITION DETAILS_
As a member of the Dual Diagnosis Treatment Team (DDTT), the Behavioral Specialist is a qualified behavioral health professional who possesses the clinical skills and practical experience to assess, plan, develop, coordinate and provide treatment, rehabilitation and support services to program individuals with BH and IDD diagnosis (Dually Diagnosed) under the clinical supervision of the Program Director and Psychiatrist. You will also be responsible for the following:
+ Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments and establish individualized protocols for ongoing data collection and evaluation;
+ Use Behavioral Analysis techniques to develop and write comprehensive treatment plans that identify individual goals and behavioral support interventions as part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary treatment team;
+ Observe individuals in various community settings and collect data for the purpose of developing and evaluating behavioral support plans;
+ Provide clinical leadership to the team and collaborate with program individuals, their family, and their extended supports for the purpose of developing and applying positive behavioral interventions that do not include restraint procedures (physical, chemical or mechanical);
+ Provide individual and group supportive interventions and symptom management ensuring that immediate changes in the treatment plan are made, as necessary;
+ Implement activities and strategies identified in the participant's behavior support plan;
+ Monitor implementation of the behavior support plan, and revises as needed;
+ Conduct training related to the implementation of behavior support plans for the participant, family members, and other direct supports;
+ Provide service delivery coordination, including coordinating and monitoring the activities of the individual's treatment team;
+ Act as a liaison and consult with community agencies and families to maintain coordination in the treatment process;
+ Work collaboratively with the program's psychiatric nurse, pharmacist, and psychiatrist to coordinate medication monitoring and adjustment;
+ Participate in individual and team supervisions and meetings;
+ Provide additional consultation, as needed;
+ Complete required paperwork related to data collection, progress reporting and development of planning material;

+ Master's degree in social work, psychology, or other human services related major is required;
+ Applied Behavioral Analysis coursework or post-degree training required;
+ License or license eligible is required, LBS preferred;
+ Certification or working toward certification in Behavioral Analysis preferred, BCBA or BCaBA;
+ One year of experience providing clinical supervision to non-clinical staff is required;
+ Experience working with dually diagnosed Intellectually Disabled and Behavioral Health population is required;
+ Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with dually diagnosed individuals using person-centered recovery principles in a recovery driven service system;
+ Valid PA Drivers License and appropriate state and federal clearances are required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
