Certified Peer Specialist

NHS is currently seeking a Certified Peer Specialist to join our NHS Behavioral health division in our Lehighton, PA location.

_POSITION DETAILS_
+ The certified peer specialist provides direct care to those in recovery of their mental illness.
+ In doing so, they develop recovery goals to assist the invididuals in areas that they are in need.
+ Each individual CPS will communicate, document and review cases with supervisors about the clients that they serve.
_POSITION REQUIREMENTS_
+ Must have received Peer Specialist certification upon graduation of the Certified Peer Specialist Training.
+ Must have high school diploma/GED
+ Must have maintained at least 12 months of successful full or part time paid or volutary work experience OR
+ Obtained at least 24 credit hours of post secondary education

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
